Hey, I’m Jesse (the “J” in JNL).

I’m a Gemini. Let’s get that out in the open. I know I know, you’re probably about to head back to the next google search result for mobile mechanic in my area. But wait, let me explain myself.

I’ve been a mechanic for over 10 years. I started out like most others in this industry, as a tyre fitter in a large automotive chain business. I then became an apprentice and before you know it I was a fully qualified mechanic. But that wasn’t enough for me! I progressed to Workshop Controller and found myself in a position where over the years I had accumulated a large client base of friends and family who I would regularly service and fix their car problems after my 9-5 (or in my case 7-6:30, sometimes 7 to my wife’s displeasure ). Obviously something had to give. I made the decision to go out on my own and try to make a name for myself, instead of a large corporation. So with nothing but a large tool box in the back of my Hilux, a can do attitude and A LOT of Redbull, JNL Automotive Solutions was founded.

So yes, I am a Gemini, but in the best way possible. I’m adaptable, have great communication skills and am intrinsically curious. I treat every customer like they are family and love the satisfaction of a job well done. All of these things make me feel like I could be the right mechanic for you.

But who believes in all that star sign rubbish anyways, right?

Natalie has been with me since the beginning. Well. Since before my tyre fitter days at least. With the help of Canva and Youtube she’s made JNL look somewhat professional. Like those fancy brands you see on instagram. She’s a Capricorn. So now you guys know who the real boss is. Honestly she does it all. Social media, Photography, Branding, Website building. Anything she puts her mind on really. And she can make a pretty good coffee too. Barista quality.

Natalie has supported me every step of the way and I could not do it without her. And all I have to do in return is carry her bags whenever we go on holidays? Not a bad trade off if I do say myself.
